Default Scanner and Camera Wizard (limited user/account problem)

Hi,
mybe someon will find this post helpfull as I do sometime when I
search web...

What was the problem:
- the scanner and camera wizard did not popup when i connected my
USB device (key, digital camera...)

best solutions found on net:
- start-run->gpedit.msc go to Computer Settings, Administrative
Templates and select System. Change value Turns off Autoplay to "Not
configured"
- uninstall real player (or change someting there)
- use Power Tools (TweakUI) and there is AutoPlay section
If you are administrator than it is working like a charm. Don't
forget to also select:
"Enable Autoplay for CD and DVD drives" and
"Enable Autoplay for removable drives".
But the problem is if you are not administrator you cannot change
this! (At leas I couldn't )

So I was thinking, I will put user to administrator group and change
settings with TweakUI and later delete user from administrator group.
It worked untill I remove user from administrators group

The settings is written in registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies
\Explorer
NoDriveTypeAutoRun - the value there should be: 145 and 91(hex)

So now we know where the problem is, but why when I remove user from
administrators group this is changed automaticly(sistem or some prog.)
And later you can not change it.

Solution/Workaround:
When user is administrator run TweakUI and set things as you like
then change permission of registry key "Explorer". Right click on this
key and select Properties and on Security settings change then
Administratr, you and SYSTEM are just readers. I also changed Owner
but it probably doesn't metter

Now everything working like I wanted, under limited user )

Best regards,
ThomasV
