Wherever it is in your newsgroup settings that lists your email address,
change it. You're using Mozilla/5.0, so I don't know the specific steps.
Make sure that the fake addy can't *possibly* be real -- don't want to use
someone else's by mistake. Otherwise, just about anything can be used. I
simply use "none".

If you're using Windows, Tools/Account settings. If you're using Linux,
Edit/Account settings.

Windows/Linux..Irrelevant. It's the newsreader that has the settings, not
the OS.

Seamonkey and Thunderbird are not the same in Windows and Linux. I
should know as I have Thunderbird running in both. Do you? In fact
Firefox is different too.

Yes, but in Windows, do TB or OE or Agent have the same settings? Because
that's what you implied.

What you are wanting to do is "munge" your e-mail address, The
link below helps explain:
http://www.faqs.org/faqs/net-abuse-faq/munging-address/

BTW, I learned this from previous posts!

No, I didn't. I didn't mention OE or Agent at all. I looked at the OP's
headers and found he is using Seamonkey. Hence, my advice.

OK, I see it now. Matter of different styles. When I check to see what
newsreader is being used (which I admit I should have done -- getting old),
I mention that fact in my response. I try to read posts as others do, often
from web-based interfaces or any number of 'repeaters", and such info is not
available to them.

Picking up the thread of my original post, I don't see what this has to
do with my problem.
Cheers-Herb.
