Hi there all you experts, I have a Compaq Pesario running XP SP2. It's
connected to an ADSL 4 point router with an old HP running Windows 98SE. I've had a problem all along that I'm trying to fix. When I put my Pesario in standby mode it wakes up by its self. Could be a few minutes or an hour. Any suggestions. Thanks. |

Also in Device Manager, have a look at the properties under Power Management for your network card, make sure the checkbox for 'Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby' is unticked. Do the same for any modem you have fitted as well. Hope this helps Nick |
