Hello, Today suddenly Ethereal/WinPCap is not working anymore ? I have two possible explanations for this: 1. VMWare somehow disabled/crippled Ethereal/WinPCap ? 2. Windows update considered WinPCap "dangerous software" ? |

Hello,

Don't know, but I think Ethereal died and was replaced with "Wireshark" (still freeware) quite a while ago. Uninstall Ethereal and try installing Wireshark. <http://www.wireshark.org/> HTH, John |
