Does anyone have any suggestions on how to see the complete link IE?
When I brower a web site and click any button, a connected link is showed under the status bars section. Due to the limited space, I cannot see the complete link, does anyone have any suggestions on how to retrieve the link information? Thanks in advance for any suggestions Eric |

The lower left-hand corner of an IE window is normally blank, but a URL will appear on it when you place your mouse over a Web link. Is this what you are talking about? In the event the URL is extremely long, just right-click it and "Copy Shortcut" to the clipboard. The either paste it into Notepad or try this: Windows Key + R | (type) clipbrd | OK |

Thank everyone very much for suggestions
Yes, but when I click the button, the URL will only flash for a second, and I am not fast enough to drag the mouse right-click it and "Copy Shortcut" to the clipboard. Does anyone have any suggestions? It would be helpful to give us a link to this Web page. I don't see why
speed should be an issue. While the mouse is over the link on the page, (not in the status bar), Right
Click | Copy Shortcut. Open Notepad, WordPad, Word or whatever and Paste. There is your URL. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "Eric" <Eric@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:7295A574-5B1D-40FF-A262-83CCAA0183D8@microsoft.com... > Thank everyone very much for suggestions > > Yes, but when I click the button, the URL will only flash for a second, > and > I am not fast enough to drag the mouse right-click it and "Copy Shortcut" > to > the clipboard. > Does anyone have any suggestions? > Thanks everyone very much for any suggestions > Eric > > "Daave" wrote: > >> "Eric" <Eric@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message >> news:7F52A479-D889-4FD9-950D-4479C5AE6971@microsoft.com... >> > Does anyone have any suggestions on how to see the complete link IE? >> > When I brower a web site and click any button, a connected link is >> > showed >> > under the status bars section. I do not click on the web link, but only click a button. I have checked
there is no way to copy the web - link from the button and status bars. Do you have any suggestions? If you click on the button and go to the Webpage, the same URL will be in
the Address Bar. Put a link to the Webpage in this thread and tell me what button you want the URL for. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "Eric" <Eric@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:CC6CFB66-E55C-42B0-9343-39AA3CBA562F@microsoft.com... >I do not click on the web link, but only click a button.
