Create a shortcut from the calculator program which is to be found at
Windows\System32\calc.exe.

Right-click on the calculator shortcut.

Left-click on 'Pin to Start Menu.'

Nice thought, however pin to start menu is not listed as an option, my
question was how do I get it to be listed as an option.

Restore Missing Pin to Start menu Context menu option in Windows XP - The
Winhelponline Blog:
http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/re...in-windows-xp/

Note that the Pin to Start menu option won't be listed if you're using
Classic Start menu.

Thanks, that's what I needed.
I thought of that (classic view) and changed it, but it still wasn't listed.
