Hi, we use an older propriety application that apparently uses ltocx13n.ocx
because when we attempt to run one of the applets from the propriety application the following error message appears: run-time error '339' Component 'ltocx12n.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid During the install of the program on a freshly ghosted PC it generated error message - unable to register cstext32.ocx. The vendor sent me a custom cstext32.ocx which I manually registered without problems. We have successfully used this application for about eight years w/o problems 'til now. Anybody else out there run into this problem? Thanks, Tom |

Even if cstext32.ocs was missing and the reason ltocx12n.ocx failed to register, you will still need to register ltocx12n.ocx. Have you tried to reregister it? If so then what error do you get when you try to register ltocx12n.ocx? -- Brian Cryer www.cryer.co.uk/brian |

I had a regsvr32 error this morning which failed but without a message ... it turned out simply to be my mistake because I was using the /s flag which suppressed the error. If its not something as simple as that, then how do you know it failed if it doesn't come back with any error message? -- Brian Cryer www.cryer.co.uk/brian |

I've tried for two days to register on the leadTools Forums but it won't let me post a message there. > > > |

If it didn't reply with successfully registered then it should have reported a hex error number if not an error message. Something must have been reported or was it totally quiet? -- Brian Cryer www.cryer.co.uk/brian |

At a minimum, you will definitely need LTKRN13N.DLL, LTDIS13N.DLL, LTEFX13N.DLL, LTFIL13N.DLL, LTIMG13N.DLL, LTTWN13N.DLL, and LTEFX13N.DLL. If you do not have these files, you may need to contact the vendor for these installation files. Regarding our forum, we have just performed a test registration with no problems. Please contact us at support@leadtools.com if you continue to have problems. LEADTOOLS Support LEAD Technologies Inc. http://www.leadtools.com/ http://support.leadtools.com/cs/forums/ |

Please contact us at support@leadtools.com if you > continue to have problems. I'm logged on w/ administrative privileges The LT* files are on the PCs. While installing the application I get message error "unable to register cstex32.ocx" I then delete the existing files, cstext32.ocx, from winnt\system32 then copy the vendor supplied cstext32.ocx into system32 then register cstext32.ocx. When I run a certain applet from within the application the following error message appeears: run-time error ‘339’ Component ‘ltocx13n.ocx’ or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid When I try to register ltocx13n.ocx (regsvr32 ltocx13n.ocx) nothing happens. The PCs that don't work w/ the application have a different software image ghosted to them. Each later image seems to have more security installed on them. Is there anyplace else in Windows i can check re: the inability to regisiter files? When I get some time I'll try to register at your site again. thanks much. |
