Using xp media center edition 2005 and I have an hp officejet j4550 all in one printer installed. Ever since I installed this printer it seems forever to hook up |

Using xp media center edition 2005 and I have an hp officejet j4550 all in
one printer installed. Ever since I installed this printer it seems forever to hook up with internet. Have in tray an icon HP Digital Imaging Monitor and wonder if I close it if things would speed up. Also not sure if this would still allow the printer to print. Hopefully someone reading this has my operating system as well as the hp all in one printer and can relate to my question. Don |
