When I do CTRL-ALT-DEL my Task Manager does not appear. Instead I
receive a small green box in the task bar. When I click on it a menu comes up that give me two choices: "Close" or "Always on Top". The usual Task Manager does not appear. I am running Windows XP Professional on a Dell XPS (4 years old). I have all the upgrades to Windows XP. Can anyone tell me how to get my Task Manager back? |

Task Manager is minimized in that little green box . This will expand it so you can use the Task Manager. Somewhat like rubbing Aladdin's lamp. - Doug W. -- |

And when you get the Task Manager working go to Options and uncheck 'Hide when minimized'. this could be your problem. You can check the other two options. - Doug W. - |
