The original link to Vista Discussions IS broken.
BUT, the link posted here WORKS. http://www.microsoft.com/communities...s/default.aspx You scroll down the list to: microsoft.public.windows THEN expand it for Vista Newsgroups And it works the same as the broken one; sign in via Hotmail Account. MS emailed me this link months ago, when it 1st happened. -- Mad Mike "b11_" wrote: > When at the Vista Newsgroup, I can not post unless I use the link below: > > http://www.microsoft.com/communities...&lang=en&cr=us > > Any help would be appreciated. |

The reason you're having such problems is that you are using the web interface to read this newsgroup--it's the slowest, clunkiest, most error-prone method there is. Do yourself a favor and switch to a newsreader, such as Outlook Express, which comes with Windows. See http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/ou...snewreader.htm |

There seems to be a problem with the Vista groups. While many can access them without any problem there are many others who either can only read the existing postings or cannot see the newsgroups at all. |

I am sick of you posting false garbage.
I don't get errors in it! Where is your proof of your self-centered, wide-ranging statements? Once again, YOUR opinion; not mine. Just answer the OP's question. -- Mad Mike "David H. | "The Web CDO is a poor way to access Usenet based news groups at its best." | Once again, YOUR opinion; not mine. | Just answer the OP's question. | -- | Mad Mike Its a fact. Using a http web interface is a poor way to access Usenet. It doesn't matter if its Microsoft's or another. You can't access the wealth of Usenet as it has to offer. You can't ... search easily see headers get attachments see the flow of a thread properly go from group to group in one easy download etc. You might call it my opinion but the fact remains it just limits your capabilities. Having used both and having been on Usenet for almost 20 years I know the difference. -- Dave http://www.claymania.com/removal-trojan-adware.html Multi-AV - http://www.pctipp.ch/downloads/dl/35905.asp |

You are a closed-mind, self-opiniated clown.
If people like to use something, let them use it. Just because you can't use the Web Interface, you shove your own way to do it. Grow up! -- Mad Mike "David H.
