I was wondering if there is a place in the registry or if there is a DOS
command that would allow me to re-active a folder's (and its subfolders) inherited rights flag? I was setting up manual rights to files and folders and forgot to re-activate one of Adobe's folder and sub-folders. If I could simply re-activate it via a registry entry or DOS command, I would be able to re-activate these rights on multiple workatations deployed in our department! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Thanks. You should be able to do this with Xcacls.vbs: How to use Xcacls.vbs to modify NTFS permissions http://support.microsoft.com/kb/825751/en-us Or Guillaume Bordier's FileAcl.exe: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en Or SetACL: http://setacl.sourceforge.net/index.html John |
