Default HP comp. came with WinXP installed. Now how redo Setup w/o WinXP diskes?

A friend of mine just called. He has a HP 4200+ CPU (about 1 year old) and
just got a message that he needs to go to Windows Setup and use the Repair
action.

How can he do that since Windows XP was installed by HP and he does not have
the Windows XP installation disks?

He should consult the manual or the HP website for instructions on how to
use the recovery options. He probably has a recovery partition rather than
cd's. He should be able to order cd's from HP and should do so.

He can make one. Tell him to call HP and ask how.
