Was on the phone with cable tech support regarding download speed issues.
After rebooting into Safe Mode with Networking several times and going online for speedtests, I started to get Keyboard failure message during boot. Mouse freeze's too. Everything loads and works fine with normal startup. Never been an issue before when going into Safe Mode for various reasons in the past. How do I get keyboard and mouse to work again in Safe Mode? XP-SP2. Thanks, Steve T. |

But try to scan for malware and viruses, I have been up against one of them recently, got the best out of me but I managed to clean up the system. Good luck. |

Ran my CA AV and it found nothing. Ran Spybot and Ad-Aware 2007 and they
found nothing. Ran SuperAntispyware and it found 2 items: Rootkit.NDT2-1 item, and Trojan.Downloader-Gen/NDT2-1 item. Don't know if these could be the problem but will get back if they are not. So far my keyboard is back in working condition in Safe Mode. Haven't done
anything extra other than what I already posted. Steve T. "Steve T" <stumas@NOBINGOcharter.net> wrote in message news:e8k0IzzTIHA.4196@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... > Ran my CA AV and it found nothing.
