I have a computer dell dimension 1100 which came with windows xp home and
drivers CD and I reinstalled windows on it quite easily but I have another
computer which is used one, not new. It has xp prof. installed with a label
on it showing the windows key. I have xp prof. CD but don't have any CD to
install drivers. Is there any method I can reinstall xp on this computer?

You will need to get the drivers you need from the hardware
manufacturers websites.

What is the make and model of the second computer?

You may need the mortherboard model to locate and download third party
drivers.

Yes it can be done, and no, dispite what anyone else says
you don't need the MoBo model number.

On the second PC, as there is an operating system already installed,
all you have to do is on the main PC you use goto:
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

Download and then transfer over to second PC via USB flash or
copy to CD and then install on second PC.
Then run the belarc advisor, it will provide a detailed and full
profile of the XP pro PC, and will list all the hardware.
From the list of identified hardware it will give model and version,
just visit the home sites of each device and click the downloads/
support link and download + save the XP pro compliant drivers.
Copy them across and install.

Dell makes getting the correct drivers for your system very easy.

On the back or bottom of the system there's a Service Tag number. Log into
the Dell support site and search on the service tag number. You'll be
presented with a download page for all the drivers that came with it, and
updates.

Actually you don't need Belarc for this. Dell's already got it covered,
using the Service Tag on the back or bottom of the PC.

That's kind of the long way round for this, as searching on the Service Tag
at the Dell support site will show you all the drivers for the hardware for
that system, on one page. It's very, very easy.

Read the OP post carefully, he said he has a Dell but it is another PC he
wants the drivers for - he dosen't say the second older PC is a Dell.
And even if it was, it is an "older used, not new PC", it may very well
have different hardware to what was originally configured.
To the original poster: Run Belarc advisor on the second pre-owned PC
and get the drivers from the sites of each individual device.

In this newsgroup it is not only the spelling and punctuation, some cannot
