Thanks to all you folks for your input. I actually feel that way too because
i have heard these sentiments before but i thought since it was recommended by PC World it might be good. However, as pointed out, PC World is a business and one should take that into consideration. Since I am leary about doing anything in the Registry because of my level of knowledge I will continue to stay clear of software like this. Thank you all for your opinions. They're probably right. Ps Thanks for not posting in html |

Registry repair on WinXP Pro SP2?
Actually I didn't need one until I tried and tried to fix a problem for an application that wouldn't install properly. I tried a lot of things and finally I noticed that RegCure provided a 30-day money back guarantee. This was 1Q/2Q2007. I decided to make a backup of my system 'just in case' so I tried it and RegCure actually fixed whatever it was that was causing the error. After RegCure I was able to install the application and nothing was affected by RegCure in any negative way. I don't work for RegCure nor do I market their products. Until my experience with RegCure, I'd be in the same 'why use it camp'. It runs on my workstation once or so a week finding 'stuff'. I'm not too sure what it does but it runs. I do know that it did help. Had I used it earlier in my search, I would have saved a lot of time. My 2cents worth.
