\I have tried, and failed , to get any type of response to my queries about
Windows Vista( new to me thru a laptop purchase 8 weekes ago), as well as other problems I have ongoing with access to websites for my work (forex trading) and constant unwanted junk/spam email. I do have appropriate security installed. I am appalled with the lack response to repeated info requests thru my user id etc. and wonder if anyon out there really cares--if not I will make some major changes -- frianna |

Spam isn't something that is OS based, it's universal.
"major changes" won't help, unless you're talking about opening a new email account and being more careful with it. rtk "frianna" <frianna@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:73A6422A-9136-402E-A486-B8331C8E19D0@microsoft.com... > \I have tried, and failed , to get any type of response to my queries > about > Windows Vista( new to me thru a laptop purchase 8 weekes ago), as well as > other problems I have ongoing with access to websites for my work (forex > trading) and constant unwanted junk/spam email. I got an account. http://www.cotse.com $5.95 per month. Has excellent spam blocking features. The best there is. Your Anti Virus should be AVG not Norton. Stocks are going to crash you should be in cash and out of Mutual Funds. Pick you a foreclosed house and rent it out for long term holding. Now is a good time to buy as prices have come down. |

You attract spam by going to web sites so watch what you do there for a start. Often the spam has an opt out at the bottom so look for it. You say you have appropriate protection but it may not have a spam protector as well. -- Ian With patience there is always a way. Please Reply to Newsgroup so all can read.
