I ran into a strange problem. My terminal server is only allowing 10 telnet
connect to our Unix Server. After we reach ten connections the 11th telnet session starts, but then never gets a login. I get no error message from Unix or Windows. I thought it was the unix box, but I can telnet to it from other computers. Once I disconnect the 10th connection another terminal server user can connect. Is there a limit somewhere in the registry? |

There is nothing in TS that would limit this functionality. I would
contact the vendor and see if they ahve a limit on TS. Jeff Pitsch Microsoft MVP - Terminal Services Jeff Viola wrote: > I ran into a strange problem. Ok. Who is the vendor? Microsoft?

I guess I should of said. Yes, we are using Microsoft's built-in telnet client.

mmmmm, in that case, there may just be a limit with that. The telnet
client may not be multi-user aware. I've not heard of anyone using the built-in client on TS. That'd be a great question for MS definitely. I've sent off something to MS. I cannot guarantee a timely response but
hopefully they'll have something. My guess is the client isn't multi-user aware and you are running into the max number of connections the client can handle. Thanks, I'll await their response.
