We are a member of the local admins group and no group policies or local
security policies restrict running perfmon. We can add counters when logged on to the console but not when adding counters from a remote workstation or servers. We can open an MMC and manage the machine remotely. We can open a remote registry connection and run WMI scripts from a remote machine. Just can't add counters from a remote machine. We can run perfmon against all other machines on the network from any client but just not this one. When we type \\machinename and click an object or counter, it just hourglasses. Thoughts?
